23 Chapel End

Our home is in the Village of Sawtry, which is located at 23 Chapel End. We were fortunate to find a 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom home, with an amazing garden and a conservatory. We are still waiting for our household goods to arrive to decorate and organize before taking pictures of the inside; to post. We also live by a home that is 400 years old, with a Thatched Roof. It's pretty amazing.

Peterborough and Huntingdon “Cities”

A few trips on the weekends have been to the City of Peterborough which we were able to tour the St. Peterborough’s Cathederal (BEAUTIFUL). Also, the City of Huntingdon, which we seen a few old Schools and Churches. Both of these cities have department stores, malls, and accommodations such as you see in America.

We live in the Village of Sawtry, which is halfway between Peterborough and Huntingdon, both are just 15 minutes away.

Easter Mass & Dinner in Tillbrook

Following our adventure in Cambridge on Saturday, we went to mass on Sunday morning. The priest is such a great speaker that we both agree it was likely the best Easter Mass we've attended.

After mass we met some friends for dinner at the White Horse pub in Tillbrook. Keep in mind that when we say "pub," that doesn't always mean strictly a bar. Their pubs are more like restaurants that also serve alcohol.

Easter in Cambridge

This was certainly one of the most unique Easters either one of us have every had. The British actually celebrate Easter over four days. For us, it started on Saturday with a trip to Cambridge. There are 31 colleges and universities located within Cambridge. We took a river boat trip and went "punting." During this trip we saw 7 of the 31 colleges. It was simply amazing, as you can see from our pictures.
